Grand Canal cuts between the Venetian Casino Hotel resort (Las Vegas) and Venice (Italy) while at the same time focusing on the gondola rides that ferry tourists around the canals of each site. As the work progresses the relationship between the 'authentic' city and the 'themed reproduction' becomes increasingly blurred to the point where historic, cultural and geographical differences are overrun by highly constructed spatial nattatives.

Exhibited at temporarycontemporary, London; Leeds Met Gallery, Leeds; Artcenter/South Florida, Miami; and Media Gallery, Tokyo University, Japan.
